The Low & Moderate Income Tax Relief Program is administered annually by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration.
In order to quality you must
- Own a homestead subject to the state education property tax
- Reside in such homestead on April 1 of the year for which the claim for relief is made
- Have a total household income of $20,000 or less if a single person or $40,000.00 or less is married or head of a NH household
This program runs annually between May 1st and June 30th; applications are accepted only during this filing period and are submitted directly to the NH Department of Revenue. Forms are available at the Town Hall
